The Pierre

The Pierre is a 40-storey mixed-use tower featuring 370 condominiums, indoor and outdoor amenity spaces including a rooftop deck, and a podium with ground-level retail. The development conserves and restores the historic John Holdford House and incorporates its heritage façade into the new podium design. Additional adjacent heritage properties are also being redeveloped and integrated into the project.

A high-performance geothermal energy system reduces greenhouse gas emissions, improves energy efficiency, and supports Toronto Green Standard sustainability objectives.

Added complexity due to the constrained downtown site requires careful planning around the heritage restoration, excavation, crane logistics, neighbouring developments, and surrounding infrastructure.
